1. Management’s decision is final.
2. Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
3. Verbal abuse, disruptive behavior, or vulgarity will not be tolerated.
4. English is the only acceptable language that may be spoken at the table while a hand is in progress.
5. Players must protect their hands at all times.
6. One player to a hand and one hand to a player. Players may not seek advice as to the play of their hands while in possession of a hand. Players will be responsible for turning their own hands over at the showdown. Each player’s cards must remain in plain view of the dealer and the other players at all times.
7. CARDS SPEAK for themselves. It is the responsibility of the dealer as well as all of the players to correctly read all tabled hands at the showdown.
8. Show one player, show all players. If a player shows one or both of his cards to another player at the table, the player must show their cards to everyone at the table.
9. Players not still in possession of cards at showdown, or who have mucked their cards face down without first tabling them, lose any rights or privileges to ask to see any hand. Supervisor’s discretion governs all other requests such as to see the hand of another caller, or if there was no betting on the final round of the hand.
10. Rabbit hunting is not permitted. Players may not ask to see any undealt cards if all other players have folded.
11. Check and raise is allowed in all games.
12. Verbal action in turn will be binding. Verbal action out of turn may be binding.
13. Every limit game has a minimum buy-in. Short buys will not be allowed at any time.
14. All games are TABLE STAKES. This means that all chips must remain on the table, in play, and visible to the dealer and all other players until a player leaves the game. When cashing out, a player may not return to any table of the same game and limit for 2 hours unless that player buys-in for the total amount removed or the minimum buy-in, whichever is greater.
15. One live straddle (live blind bet) may be allowed in limit, no-limit, and pot-limit games.
16. A bet and three raises will be allowed each betting round in limit games. There will be unlimited amount of raises in no-limit and pot-limit games.
17. Unlimited raising is allowed in heads-up play in limit games. This applies any time the action becomes heads-up before the raising has been capped. Once the raising has been capped on a betting round, it cannot become uncapped by a subsequent fold that leaves two players heads-up.
18. String bets are not permitted. Each player may only have one action per turn. If a player puts in half or more of the required raise, the raise must be completed to the minimum allowable raise.
19. Splashing of the pot is not permitted.
20. There will be no objects allowed on the table other than chips, cards or a reasonably sized “card protector.” Electronic devices are permitted on the rail.
21. Players may be absent from the table for a maximum of two dealer changes. If a player has less than the amount of the big blind, that player will have 15 minutes to return to the table with a minimum buy-in. Any player exceeding these time limits may have their chips removed from the table and their seat given to the next player on the wait list. Any player returning to the Poker Room that has had their chips removed by a Supervisor or above will be placed onto the bottom of any list for the game from which the player’s chips were removed.
22. Any player wishing to take a dinner break of up to 90 minutes, may voluntarily cash out and have the option to stay at the top of that game’s wait list for the duration of the dinner break. Any player returning from a dinner break must buy-in for the total amount removed or the minimum buy-in, whichever is greater.
23. “Third Man Walking” rule will be strictly enforced. This means if two players are absent from the table, a player cannot get up from table without forfeiting their seat if there is a waiting list.
24. Hollywood Casino Toledo poker room is not responsible for chips or cash left on the table in a player’s absence.
25. Use of tobacco products (cigars, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, etc.) is prohibited at all times.
1. A flat disk called the “Button” shall be used to indicate an imaginary dealer.
2. At the commencement of play, the dealer will deal each player one card face up to determine the placement of the button. Whoever receives the highest ranking card will start with the button.
3. The button will move around the table in a clockwise manner after each round of play.
4. The player to the immediate left of the button is required to place a Small Blind bet. The player to the immediate left of the Small Blind bet is required to place a Big Blind bet. The amount and number of Blind bets will be posted on a poker table sign.
5. Starting with the player to the immediate left of the button and continuing in a clockwise rotation around the Poker table, the dealer shall deal two rounds of cards face down to each player, the player with the button being the last player to receive a card each time.
6. Each player in turn, in a clockwise rotation starting with the player to the left of the Big Blind bet, has the option to Call, Raise or Fold. If no player has raised the bet, then the option to raise is given to both Blind bets. After the last player has responded to the most recent bet, the betting round shall be considered complete.
7. The Dealer will then proceed to deal three community cards (the Flop) face up in the center of the table.
8. The next betting round will begin with the option to bet or check belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded. Each player may, in clockwise rotation, fold, call, raise the bet or, if preceding players have not made a bet, make an opening bet or check. The betting round shall be considered complete when each player has either folded or called in response to the most recent bet.
9. Upon completion of the betting round the dealer will again burn the top card of the deck and then deal a fourth community card (the Turn) face-up to the right of the Flop.
10. The next betting round will begin with the option to bet or check belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded.
11. Upon completion of the betting round the dealer will again burn the top card of the deck and then deal a fifth community card (the River) face-upto the right of the Turn card.
12. The final betting round will begin with the option to check or bet belonging to the first player to the left of the button who has not folded.
13. If more than one player remains in the round of play after the final betting round has been completed, a showdown shall be used to determinethe winner of the pot.
14. Each player remaining in the game will turn his cards over and the dealer will read the cards to determine the highest ranking five- card high poker hand using, in any combination their own two cards and the five community cards.
15. The winner of the pot will be the player with the highest- ranking five card high poker hand.
16. In the event of a tie the excess chip is awarded to the player to the left of the dealer button that is in the pot.
Omaha is similar to Texas Hold’Em except each player is dealt four cards instead of two at the start. The betting is the same as in Hold’Em.
1. All of the rules of Texas Hold’Em apply to Omaha.
2. In order to make a valid hand, a player must use precisely two cards from their hand with three community cards. At the showdown, the entire four-card hand needs to be shown to receive the pot.
Omaha High-Low Split, Eight or Better:
Omaha High-Low Split, Eight or Better is played in the same fashion as Omaha with the following exceptions:

1. In High-Low Split Eight or Better poker, the player with the highest ranking five card poker hand and the player with the lowest ranking five card poker hand will divide the pot equally. If there is an extra chip that chip will be given to the player that won the High half of the pot.
2. In High-Low Split Eight or Better poker, if none of the players at showdown have a qualifying Low hand, the entire pot will be awarded to the player with the highest ranking High hand.
3. A player may form two different five card hands using their four hole cards and the five board cards to contend for the High and Low shares of the pot. A player may also use the same five card grouping to make a High hand and a Low hand.
4. An Ace may be used as the lowest ranking card to make a Low hand and as the highest ranking card to make a High hand.
1. Pineapple Hold’Em is similar to Texas Hold’Em except each player is dealt three cards instead of two at the start. All of the rules of Texas Hold’Em apply to Pineapple Hold’Em.
2. After the initial round of betting, players must discard one of their hole cards when it is their turn to act.
Crazy Pineapple Hold’Em:
Crazy Pineapple Hold’Em is similar to Pineapple Hold’Em except that players will discard one of their hole cards after the Flop has been placed. All of the rules of Texas Hold’Em apply to Crazy Pineapple Hold’Em.
Limit Hold’Em, No Limit Hold’Em and Pot limit Hold’Em:
Limit Hold’Em is played with a structured betting sequence. One bet and three raises are allowed in Limit Hold’Em.
There is no limit on the number of raises in No-Limit or Pot- Limit Hold’Em. In No-Limit Hold’Em, players can bet up to the amount of their table stakes inany round while in Pot-Limit Hold’Em, players can bet up to the total amount of the pot.
1. Each poker table shall be restricted to a maximum of nine players. Each player who plays in a round of play may be required to place an Ante.
2. Starting with the first player to the left of the dealer and continuing in a clockwise rotation around the poker table, the dealer will deal two rounds of cards face downand one round of cards face-up to each player.
3. Once each player has received three cards, the player with the lowest card will start the initial betting round. In the event that two or more up-cards are of the samerank, the up-cards shall then be ranked by suit, with the highest to lowest ranked suits in order as follows: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs.
4. Following the bet placed by the player with the low card, each following player proceeding in a clockwise rotation may fold, call or raise the bet. After the last playerhas responded to the most recent bet, the betting round is complete.
5. Upon completion of the first betting round, the dealer will bring the chips into the center of the table and burn the top card of the deck and place it under the pot.Starting with the first remaining player to the dealers left, deal a fourth card face up to each player remaining in the game. The player with the highest ranking poker hand showing will initiate the action by betting or checking. If the highest ranking poker hand showing is held by two or more players, the player closest to the left of the dealer shall be required to bet or check first.
6. Following the initial bet or check, each subsequent player, proceeding in a clockwise rotation, may fold, call, raise or, if the preceding players have not made a bet, check. Each player may check until a bet has been made. Once a bet has been made, the next player in a clockwise rotation may fold, call or raise. After the last player has responded to the most recent bet, the betting round is complete.
7. The dealer shall then deal two additional rounds of cards face-up to each player remaining in the game, with each round followed by a betting round. Prior to eachround of cards being dealt, the dealer shall burn the top card of the deck and place it under the pot.
8. If there are enough cards remaining in the deck/stub, give each remaining player a sixth and seventh card. If there are not enough cards remaining in the deck to giveeach remaining player a sixth or seventh card, the dealer will shuffle the stub in with the burn cards, cut, then burn a card and deal to the remaining players. If there arenot enough cards left with the burn cards then community cards will be dealt after the burn card, face-up in the center of the table.

9. If more than one player remains after the final betting round, a showdown will be used to determine the winner of the pot. Each player remaining in the game shallform a five card poker hand from the seven cards that they were dealt. The winner of the pot will be the player with the highest ranking five card high hand.
10. In the event of a tie, the excess chip is awarded to the player holding the highest card by suit. For the purpose of awarding odd chips the suits ranked from highest to lowest are spades, hearts, diamonds and then clubs. When making this determination, all seven cards are used, not just the five cards that constitute a player’s winning hand.
7-Card Stud High-Low Split, Eight or Better:
A variation of 7-Card Stud. The best high hand splits the pot with the best low hand. However, in order to win the low half, the player must have an 8-low or better. If there is no low qualifier, the high hand wins the entire pot.
7 Card Stud Razz:
Razz is a lowball game. The lowest hand wins the pot. Aces are low and straights and flushes have no effect on the value of the hand. In razz, the high card has the forced opening and the lowest hand is the first to act thereafter.

Hollywood Casino Kansas Speedway Poker Tournament House Rules
- Participants must be age 21 or older and be able to present a valid government or state issued ID upon request at time of registration.
- Participants must have a mychoice® account and be in good standing with Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway (HCKS). Individuals who are excluded from casino facilities, either through a government program or by their own request, are not eligible.
- Participants must register in person on the day of the tournament.
- Registration for all tournaments begins at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the tournament unless otherwise noted.
- Registration for all tournaments will be limited by available tables and staffing.
- Players may buy-in to tournaments with cash or value cheques.
- Late registration and re-entry will be accepted until the end of the registration period (which is determined by that particular event’s blind structure.) If no seat is available at the time of registration, players will be placed on a list of “alternates” and will be guaranteed a seat once available.
- All players will receive a full starting stack at time of entry.
- Alternates, re-entries, and late entries will be seated in the order of registration and will have their stack put into play once a seat is available.
- Players may forfeit their current chip stack during the registration period and be eligible to reenter the tournament. The chips of a forfeited stack will be removed from play.
- Chip forfeiture is not permitted in tournaments designated as “Bounty Tournaments.”
- All winnings will be paid by value cheques.
- Players may make deals and alter Payout Table if all remaining players agree (“chop”). If any “chop” arrangement is made, the tournament will end and all prize money will be distributed as per the players’ agreement.
- Official finishing position will be determined by chip count at the time of chop.
- Players who lose all of their tournament chips shall be considered no longer part of the tournament and must leave the tournament area.
- Starting location of button for all tables will be determined on one table by drawing high card.
- Re-draw for button will take place prior to start of the final table.
- Tables will play “hand for hand” if multiple tables are in still in play and the next player eliminated would result in the remaining players being in the money. The clock will continue to run during hand-for-hand.
- When ten or fewer players remain, they will re-draw for seating position on the final table.
- The tournament clock will not be paused, except when consolidating players to the final table OR at management’s discretion; time taken for floor calls and balancing tables is included in blind levels.
- With one table remaining, if more than one player is eliminated at the completion of a hand, the awarding of prize money will be based on the players’ stack size at the start of the hand. If two or more players are eliminated on the same hand at separate tables, they will split the prize payouts as evenly as possible.
- Winners of all prizes are responsible for payment of all applicable state and federal taxes to the required agency.
- Under all circumstances the decision of HCKS Poker Management is final.
Designated Texas Hold’em games will participate in the Bad Beat. The jackpot will be funded from each pot reaching a minimum of $20.00. When the pot reaches $20.00, $1.00 is placed in the Bad Beat box. The contents will be counted daily and the amount will be added to the existing Texas Hold’em Bad Beat Jackpot amount by a Poker Supervisor.
A minimum of $20.00 (including pot money and rake) must be in the pot in order for the hand to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
All Bad Beat funds collected will be distributed between a Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Promotional fund.
Bad Beat Jackpot distribution is as follows:
- 50% (or equal portions of 50% if more than one person is holding a qualifying Bad Beat hand) of the Primary Bad Beat Jackpot total for the game in which the Bad Beat occurred will be given to the holder(s) of the Losing Hand(s).
- 25% of the Primary Bad Beat Jackpot total in which the Bad Beat occurred will be given to the holder of the Winning Hand.
- The remaining 25% of the Primary Bad Beat Jackpot for the game in which the Bad Beat occurred will be split among the remaining players.
- All payouts will be rounded up to the nearest dollar, adjusting the remaining jackpot balance accordingly.
Qualifying Hands for the Bad Beat Jackpot
In order to qualify for the Bad Beat jackpot, both the winning hand and the losing hand must have Four-of-a-Kind (or better). Both the winning hand and the losing hand must use both of their hole cards to qualify. To qualify with a Four of a Kind, the player’s hand must contain a pocket pair.
A minimum of four players must be dealt in a hand in order for the hand to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
Should there be a deviation (e.g. a misdeal, a missing card, two cards of the same rank and suit, extra cards, suspected cheating, etc.) the Jackpot may be declared null and void by Poker Manager or Poker Supervisor.
After the Primary Jackpot has been paid, the Bad Beat Jackpot will reset to the new jackpot amount.
Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
If the Jackpot prizes reach the appropriate thresholds, players will be subjected to federal guidelines for 1099 or 1042-S reporting.
Any dispute or situation not covered by the official rules will be resolved by the Hollywood Casino Kansas Speedway poker management in a manner deemed by them to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and binding on all participants. In addition, the Hollywood Casino Kansas Speedway management may void any entry, and/or change, cancel or modify this promotion at any time with KRGC approval.
